Full-time / Level 5 / Nursery Manager - Welsh speaker is desirable but not essential.
We are recruiting due to continued expansion; you’ll be joining our wonderful team at Bijou.

- Location: Bijou Day Nursery & Creche, Cowbridge
- £9 to £12 per hour depending on age and experience
- Min 30-hour week
- 25 days paid holiday plus additional statutory holidays
- Opening hours 7:30am to 6pm
- Full uniform provided
Requirements
- You will hold a Level 5 Childcare qualification
- Experience in running and managing a Nursery would be helpful
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of working with children in a Nursery environment
- Hold childcare level 3 with playwork
- Excellent references
- Full Clean driving license is an advantage for school runs
About Us
Our newly refurbished state-of-the-art Nursery & Creche was born out of a vision to provide Montessori-inspired, quality, affordable childcare from age 6 months to 12yrs. Bijou staff adopt an approach that engenders the nurturing and caring that babies and smaller children want, while enabling older children to feel secure yet more independent in an environment that enables them to grow and develop.
Montessori inspired Learning
You will ideally have knowledge of Montessori and an interest in developing these skills and experience to infuse Montessori inspired methods and approaches.
Duties
Joining the Nursery Management team you will be expected to take on the managing of the Nursery and its day to day requirement but we also expect you to be involved with the children in our care. We use digital technology to run our business and to support parents in having good communications with us and you will be trained to use our FAMLY app to update parents with their children’s activities and on achieving milestones. Parents want to be involved and you will be expected to lead the way for that involvement.
