Our newly refurbished state-of-the-art Nursery & Creche was born out of a vision to provide Montessori-inspired, quality, affordable childcare from age 6 months to 12yrs. Bijou staff adopt an approach that engenders the nurturing and caring that babies and smaller children want, while enabling older children to feel secure yet more independent in an environment that enables them to grow and develop.
Montessori inspired Learning
You will ideally have knowledge of Montessori and an interest in developing these skills and experience to infuse Montessori inspired methods and approaches.
Joining the Nursery Management team you will be expected to take on the managing of the Nursery and its day to day requirement but we also expect you to be involved with the children in our care. We use digital technology to run our business and to support parents in having good communications with us and you will be trained to use our FAMLY app to update parents with their children’s activities and on achieving milestones. Parents want to be involved and you will be expected to lead the way for that involvement.
We pride ourselves in offering excellence and we expect you to hold the same high expectation in yourself and the staff you manage and we similarly expect this to flow through and encourage the children to develop their own excellence. This role is very important to our future growth and requires an enthusiastic, positive approach with a calm efficiency and quiet professionalism. Our environment for children enables them to feel safe, cared for and happy.
